Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are off a hot start this season, and are -11 favorites against the Commanders in this NFC East divisional Monday Night Football matchup. The O/U currently sits at 43.5 as of me typing this.
The Commanders currently sit with a 4 -5 record, coming off a tough loss to the Minnesota Vikings last week at home. They've certainly had their fair share of ups and downs so far this season. The current Dan Snyder news looms over the franchise and will likely be a topic of discussion on the broadcast.
The Eagles currently sit with an 8-0 record, with a dominating win last week against the Houston Texans. They've looked impressive to start the season, and it doesn't look like they'll be slowing down anytime soon. They'll look to run up the score at home against the Commanders and move to 9-0 on the year.
There's a couple of bets I'm liking in this game as it currently stands. The first bet being on the Under 43.5 Total points. The double-digit spread is the main reason why I like this Under. I think this game has a chance of being dominated by the Eagles early, with them taking the foot off the gas in the second half and slowing things down with the run game. That leads me to my favorite prop for this game - Miles Sanders Over 68.5 Rushing Yards. This is way too low for Sanders against this Commanders team. I like him to clear the 100 yards rushing mark in this one and may be sprinkling on that as well. If the Eagles don't run up the score, I still like this Under 43.5 because a close game will mean the Commanders Defense came to play, with little scoring happening on either side. The -11 point spread scares me and I'm staying away. At the end of the day, this is a division rivalry primetime matchup... so anything can happen here.
Under 43.5 Total Points
Miles Sanders Over 68.5 Rushing Yards (small sprinkle on 100+)
