Week 13 kicks off tonight with the Buffalo Bills taking on the New England Patriots. The Bills are coming off a last minute win against the Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving, a game in which Josh Allen looked a little off due to injuries. He managed to throw a 36 yard dart down the field to Stefon Diggs to secure FG range and win the game in the closing seconds. Something Lions fans have known all too well in recent years. The Bills have outscored their opponents by a league-leading 110 points this season, and I'm looking for that level of Offense to continue tonight against the Patriots in New England.
The Patriots come into this game sitting at 6-5, which places them last in the really tough AFC East division. They're coming off a 33-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving.
The Market has cooled off a little bit on the Bills, as they've previously opened well above the current -3.5 number in recent games. I think Josh Allen's playing hurt, and that is the main reason for this -3.5 against the Patriots. It's also a divisional game, the Bills are on the road, so the books are expecting that this game will be within range for the Patriots. That is why I like the Patriots to cover the spread tonight. Look for Mac Jones to build off last week's decent performance, and the Patriots to even start this game off hot and take an early lead. Ultimately though, the Bills will find a way to get the win.
This should be one of the more exciting TNF games we'll see this season! I won't be placing any bets on this game but my leans are currently Patriots +3.5, Bills ML.
One player prop I do have my eye on is Devin Singletary Receiving Yards. It currently sits at 10.5 - a number that he's gone over in 7 of 11 games so far this season. If he can manage two receptions tonight, I think he sneaks over this 10.5 mark. If this jumps to 11.5 though, stay away.
