Coming off of last week's Thursday matchup between the Chargers and Chiefs, this one feels like it might be a bit of a letdown. The Steelers lost to the Patriots in Week 2, and it's just simply not looking good for this team so far. The Browns just lost an absolute heartbreaker to the Jets, in a game where if Nick Chubb just takes a knee instead of scoring, the Browns win that game.
The spread for this game currently sits at Browns -4.5 as I am typing this sentence. With the Browns playing this one at home, I think that's where I'm leaning this week. I do not trust Trubisky in this spot. The way the Browns lost to the Jets makes me believe they come out on Thursday and dominate the Steelers early and often in this matchup. The Total currently sits at 38.5 and climbing, and I like the Over at that number. To be honest, I like the Over here all the way up to 40 points. I understand it's a short week, so there's a tendency for low scoring games, but 38.5 just seems too low for me. Take this Over as soon as possible.
Not really much else to say here for this game, it will probably be a somewhat boring game. Just for the fun of it I'm also going to take George Pickens Over Yards, and Anytime Touchdown. He hasn't done anything so far in the first two weeks, but he plays on a majority of the snaps on Offense, so naturally I think he's due to for at least a decent game here.
George Pickens Over 29.5 Receiving Yards, Anytime Touchdown
