Just when we thought we couldn't possibly get a worse Thursday Night Football game than last week's debacle between the Colts and Broncos, we've been blessed with watching the Commanders take on the Bears in Week 6. This game will be just as ugly, if not uglier than last week's TNF. Both these teams are terrible on Offense, particularly the Bears. The O-line protecting Justin Fields has not been good so far this season. Fields barely passes for any yards, just running for his life most of the time out there.
At this point, I'd say it's safe to say that if the Commanders can't show up at Soldier Field on Thursday and take care of business, than their season is effectively over. They play in arguably the best division in football and would trail the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants by too many games to make up with such a poor start to the year. All that being said, I think this is a spot where we see Carson Wentz go out and throw the football all over the yard, put up great stats, and win the game for the Commanders. The Commanders Defense should be able to do just enough to keep the Bears Offense in-check.
On the prop market side of things, I do have one play I really like in this game. Curtis Samuel Over Receiving yards and Receptions. It's looking like Dotson won't play, and Wentz will need to pepper Samuel and Scary Terry McLaurin with targets to move the ball downfield. The Bears will make a strong push to pin down the Commanders run game, another reason why I like Samuel's prop plays.
