Week 7 Thursday Night Football Preview - Cardinals vs. Saints

The Cardinals an Saints square off this Thursday, both coming off a loss in their Week 6 matchups. The Cardinals couldn't get anything going on the Offensive end, only scoring 9 points against the Seahawks. The Saints had a chance to beat the Bengals, but ultimately Andy Dalton couldn't out-duel Joe Burrow to secure a victory.

For the Cardinals, some interesting things happened this week. They lost start Wideout Hollywood Brown to a season-ending injury. They went out and traded for Robbie Anderson, fresh off a very publicized fight with his coach on the sideline in Carolina. One piece of good news is that Deandre Hopkins is eligible to play this week, fresh off his 6 week suspension to begin the season. That will be a huge boost for this Offense. I also think picking up Robbie Anderson is a sneaky, solid move for Kyler Murray and the Offense. He seems like a great fit for how Kyler wants to play.

The Saints are down bad in the Wide Receiver room, unfortunately. They're also going to be trotting out Andy Dalton again this Thursday, as Jameis Winston is still not ready to go. Alvin Kamara has been a huge disappointment this season thus far, and they really need him to pick up his play if they want to win consistently the rest of the year.

The Cardinals are slight favorites in this one, and I think they find a way to get it done this week. This will likely be another ugly, sad, low-scoring Thursday Night Football game, so I lean towards the Under as well. Stay away from any player props here. These Offenses are too unpredictable to get a feel for a good prop play to bet on.

My Bets:

Cardinals ML

Under 44
